To kick off proceedings for the new year, Royals Sports Group-owned franchise Paarl Royals have today announced leading online gaming website Dafabet as the team’s title sponsor for the upcoming season of the SA20. As part of the association, Dafabet will have their presence on the front of the Paarl Royals’ official matchday jerseys, and also benefit from being part of other activations during the course of the season.
Having been established in 2004, Dafabet is home to various online games including sports betting and online casino. The brand provides a safe and private environment for people willing to participate in online gaming and will be partnering with the Paarl Royals to support the team in its inaugural season of the SA20, which starts in a week’s time. This is the brand’s first major association with a cricket team in South Africa, having previously struck deals with county teams in England. Dafabet is also the official partner of Premier League club AFC Bournemouth, and official main club sponsor of Celtic FC, along with other associations with sports teams across the globe.

Having a strong core of South African talent which includes skipper David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, Tabraiz Shamsi among others, and combined with the expertise of international stars like Jos Buttler, Eoin Morgan, Jason Roy, Obed McCoy, the Paarl Royals will begin their SA20 campaign against MI Cape Town in the season opener on 10th January 2023 at Newlands from 17.30hrs local time (GMT+2) and 21.00hrs IST.
